A Desert Beyond Fear

Author Jana Richman admits that she is addicted to fear. According to a therapist she once consulted, she suffers from Armageddon Syndrome, in which she imagines the worst case possible scenarios of her decisions. She states that she does have moments of daring and that the choices made during those brief surfaces from her abyss have been responsible for all of the big changes in her life. She realizes that some choices she makes would be considered risky by others who know her predilection towards the most improbable outcomes of her decisions, but she continues to push herself and not give in what she labels “the noise of fear”.
