The RSA Animate series has produced an illustrated version of behavioral economist Dan Ariely’s new book, The (Honest) Truth About Dishonesty: How We Lie to Everyone — Especially Ourselves. The RSA (Royal Society of Arts) Animate series employs hand-drawn cartoons to illustrate some exceptionally serious and complex ideas. Ariely’s book attempts to explain why individuals behave in a dishonest manner. Ariely claims that sometimes people are put into situations where they believe they are behaving honestly or at least rationally, when in fact, they are not.
